I introduced my buddy to Letterboxing by taking him out on the coldest
day imaginable on Cape Cod. It was in the 20s and a screaming wind. We
were flummoxed by the Fort Hill clue right at the end so struck out on
that one, nailed the Nauset Light one and then found, we think, the
place for the Three Women Singing Lb but there was nothing there. Has
anyone looked for these lately and what success did you have? Still, my
friend was hooked despite our frozen fingers and toes! Thanks BirderGirl

Hi,
We were there a week and a half ago and couldn't find "Three
Women Singing". Nice little lighthouses, though. Does
anyone know if they are cottages or what the deal is with
them?

As far as I know, "The Three Sisters" letterbox is the one to search

I don't know why both sets of clues are still listed, as
Lonemasswolf replaced the box in 2001.

For many years there were three lighthouses known as the "Three Sisters"
at this location. In 1911 two of the towers were removed; the center one
remained in service. In 1923 one of the twin cast iron towers at Chatham
was moved to Eastham and replaced the old tower. In 1996 the lighthouse
was only about 35 feet from the edge of the bluff; it was moved 336 feet
to a new site. The Three Sisters lighthouses have been restored and have
been relocated near Nauset Light.

There are two sets of clues for Three Women Singing. Did you check both places? The box had been moved, but both clues seem to be on the site. One is called Three Women Singing, and the other Three Sisters Light. If you check the clues, they are ALMOST identical, except for the last couple of lines. Darrin and I did the same boo boo when we were there (having only one set, thinking that they were totally identical!). That is the one box we didn't get while on Cape Cod.
When you go back, take BOTH sets of clues and check both spots. I was told that the box was there as of last summer.

We searched for this box a couple weeks ago and were unable to locate
it . I would assume that it is and was there but the " faint trail "
was basically invisible after only a few feet into the woods . We
blundered around in a generally northern direction for the required
paces but found nothing to match the clues . We will definitely go
back for this one . Also I want to say Thanks to " fahy bygate " for
the info on the Three Sisters because I spent many a summer in my
younger years right in Orleans and never even heard of these
lighthouses .
